Fantastic Beasts Review

    No Spoilers

Yesterday I went to see the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with my  friend Ana  (aka 101waystorandom, she hasn't got a blog yet )  and I thought that instead of just my opinion I gave her some work (MWHAHAHAA) to write a short review on the movie, so before I give you the reviews I would just like to say that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (which I am going to call FBWFT) is not like the book written for charity it is about the magical author (Not J.K Rowling) , Newt Scamander, though there is a script book coming out (or is it out already ?) which I look forward  to reading so enough jibber-jabber here is our reviews.

Ana's Review

rating 10/10
I do try to as unbiased as possible, but come on, its Harry freaking Potter! How could I not be biased? it is one of my favourite fandoms (that includes Dan and Phil, (the phandom) supernatural, anime, vocaloid, pop punk, pop rock, rock, emo stuff, 21 pilots, all that stuff...) seriously. I'm just a biased person, that is just me, (I am also the ultimate pessimist, am extremely opinionated and practically lives on the internet.) Off topic! more harry potter. well my favourite creature was by far the Niffler, just, wow XD. My favourite character is a wee bit harder (Northern Irish)all though the whole thing was a great banter with this specific book blogger, ( definitely Northern Irish). but seriously, this is boring, but my favourite character was Scamander (forgive me if I spelt that wrong, I would like all my limbs thank you.) It had feels, (going out into the rain has never been so sad, I will let you figure that out by watching the movie, do it, I swear to god JUST DO IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, ok Ana deep breath in.) cringe (I still don't know what cringing is) unanswered questions (@#%&$) plot twists, the typical the-evil-government plot (JK JK) and you-just-want-to-run-around-the-cinema-but-you-can't moments. basically it is great movie, go watch it!!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My Review (ish thing)

Thanks Ana for a not-very-informative-but-still-good-review so basically Fantastic Beasts is about Newt Scamander and his adventures in America. Newt Scamander's history is...
    Newt's case and Hufflepuff scarf
  • He went to Hogwarts (Got sorted into Hufflepuff as shown here)
  • He got expelled
  • Dumbledore wanted him to stay
  • He has a case full of magical creatures
The plot is very hard to explain (mainly because there isn't much of a plot ) the movie was great but lets just say I hope the next two are better though the characters are amazing and I mean every single actor was perfect for their character (especially the person who played Modesty) so here is a quick round up of Ana and my top picks.

                                                          ANA                                        ME
Fav Character:                               Newt                                       Jacob

Fav Beast:                                      Niffler                                    Bowtrucklee

Fav Scene:                                 Case being opened                         Obscurio

Creepiest Character:                 MODESTY!!                           MODESTY!!!!!!!!!!

Least Fav Character:                  Seraphina                                 Graves

I would just like to say I'm sorry for the delay, (these tests are killing me) and the quality (same about the tests.

P.S The tests I'm talking about are the Northern Ireland transfer Tests

The London Eye Mystery

Author: Siobhan Dowd

Genre: Mystery, Adventure

Age: 9+

My Rating: 8/10

This is the first book I have ever read by Siobhan Dowd. Come to think about it, it is the first mystery book I have read apart from Murder Most Unladylike (Love these books *Wondering why I haven't wrote a review yet*). Robin Stevens (who wrote MMU) is the reason I read this, as she wrote on her that she is writing the sequel to this book, the author having died, and I thought to myself that I should read the original copy before the sequel came out so back to the point.

Review

The London Eye Mystery is a book set in 2007, about two siblings, Ted and Kat, who take their cousin, Salim,  to the London Eye before he goes to New York. When Salim's pod arrives back to the ground he doesn't come out. If you have picked the book up read the blurb and set it down again you would know this much but if you haven't now you know.
What I really like about this book is that the main character, Ted, has Asperger Syndrome, which makes the book a lot more enjoyable because you see what he would see. This also makes the book ten times funnier with him being so unsure about idioms. There is something about the book I really like, I don't know if it was Ted, the writing, or, that it's a new mystery book for me.

If you have read any good mystery books please leave in the comments or the review policy.

Girl Online

Hi it’s me again and a few days ago I went down south and went to this brilliant library in Dun Laoghaire. It was colossal and when I say colossal I mean it. As well as having a library it had a café and art gallery but best of all it had a lot of books. I’m not sure if it’s that my library’s really bad or that this one was really good, maybe a mix of both? Anyway my mum's friend was doing an art workshop and at the end when my mum was packing up I went over to their quick pick section (seriously though is every library this goodL) and I picked a random book in this case I picked Zoe Sugg’s Girl Online. But when it was time to go I had to put it back but when I got home I went on my Kindle and looked at the one star reviews (I do this all the time, do you?) and eventually bought it, so story time over here is my review…
Cover for the first edition of Girl Online, by Zoe Sugg.Author:Zoella
Series:Girl Online

Genre: Drama, Romance

Age: 11+

My Rating: 6.5/10

                                                                      Review

First of all I would just like to mention that this book is ghost-written by  Siobhan Curham and that there was something about the writing that I enjoyed not the plot.

This book is about an anonymous blogger Penny Porter who has to go to New York because of a wedding her mother is organising. In New York Penny meets a boy called Noah who she starts to hang out with.
Though Zoe Sugg A.K.A Zoella has said this is not an autobiography it must be loosely based around her life as Penny has anxiety like Zoe does, Penny lives in Brighton as Zoe does, Penny has a blog like Zoe does etc. etc.
All in all I think it's a good book though I think Siobhan Curham has little credit.
I have read Girl Online On Tour though I think the first book is far better and I am hoping to read Girl Online Going Solo when it comes out.
I think this book is a good read for a blogger, vlogger or any Zoella fan.

Cursed Child

Author: J.K Rowling

Series: Harry Potter

Genre: Fantasy,Adventure and Drama

Age: 9+

My Rating: 9/10

                                                                     Review

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is the Potter story nineteen years since we last met them. Harry now has three children, James Sirius, Albus Servus and Lily Luna, as does Hermionie and Ron. As their children go to Hogwarts for the first time, Harry's youngest son makes friends with his father's past enemy Draco Malfoy's, only child, Scorpious.
This story is a mixture of family relationships and that classic Harry Potter adventure/fantasy feeling. Though this book still has the characters we know, it has a big difference in layout. First of all it is written as a script, I found this easier to read but many of you may not. Another big difference is it's split into to scenes just like the play is.

Just  to get it out there, in February this year my mum and I will be going to the play so after then I will do a comparison.

If you have read Cursed Child please leave in the comments what you would've given it out of ten.
