Genre: Mystery, Adventure
Age: 9+
My Rating: 8/10
This is the first book I have ever read by Siobhan Dowd. Come to think about it, it is the first mystery book I have read apart from Murder Most Unladylike (Love these books *Wondering why I haven't wrote a review yet*). Robin Stevens (who wrote MMU) is the reason I read this, as she wrote on her that she is writing the sequel to this book, the author having died, and I thought to myself that I should read the original copy before the sequel came out so back to the point.
Review
The London Eye Mystery is a book set in 2007, about two siblings, Ted and Kat, who take their cousin, Salim, to the London Eye before he goes to New York. When Salim's pod arrives back to the ground he doesn't come out. If you have picked the book up read the blurb and set it down again you would know this much but if you haven't now you know.
What I really like about this book is that the main character, Ted, has Asperger Syndrome, which makes the book a lot more enjoyable because you see what he would see. This also makes the book ten times funnier with him being so unsure about idioms. There is something about the book I really like, I don't know if it was Ted, the writing, or, that it's a new mystery book for me.
If you have read any good mystery books please leave in the comments or the review policy.
