The Heart and the Bottle

First of all I would like to tell you that these books are books to read when you have got caught up in the hustle and bustle of Christmas and you don't have time to read a novel. These books are for sharing or reading alone, for babies to grown ups and are perfect late presents (A.K.A presents to buy on Christmas Eve for the person who you have no idea what to get) for everyone.

The Heart and the Bottle By Oliver Jeffers

This little book is so powerful and moving that nearly every time I read it I'm in tears. it's about a young girl who is so curious about the world that one day when her source of knowledge (I think it's her granddad but my mum thinks it's her dad) dies the girl tucks away her heart into a bottle (hence the name.)
I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone.
My whole family love this book and I'm sure we will love it for times to come.

Please look out for my next short review tomorrow

P.S Oliver Jeffers is an artist so of course the illustrations are AMAZING
